Welcome to World Petunia Days, an annual academic congress dedicated to fostering collaboration and advancing knowledge in petunia research! Our mission remains to create an open environment where researchers from across the globe can freely exchange their latest findings, future project ideas, methods, and even unpublished data. Join us for a rich program covering topics such as molecular flower development, root growth, functional genomics, and emerging research directions in petunias. As per tradition, the date and location for the next World Petunia Days will be chosen on the final day of the conference.

This year, we are thrilled to welcome you to Copenhagen! Known for its Scandinavian design, new Nordic cuisine, and charming canals, Copenhagen provides a vibrant backdrop for Petunia Days 2025. In June, the city comes alive with long days, cultural festivals, opportunities to enjoy refreshing dips in the harbor and strolls through its many gorgeous parks and gardens decorated with Petunia flowers.
